My ranch is North of Crawford Nebraska. It has been in my family since 1887. We neighbor Toadstool Park on the north. To west is a natural 250 ft high wall running the full 3 miles of my west border. It is a bank of badlands and Cedar Canyons erupting up into the Pine Covered hills above. My property from there extending to the east of that is Strong Prairie grasses and hay fields with badlands, small valleys and rock covered hills spread over the 3600 acres. Our clients are welcome to ride the entire acreage. My land is surrounded by National Grass Lands, except to the east which is private.
I have a house with 2 bedrooms. Hide a bed queen size couch with a full kitchen and bath. Also available is a primitive cabin that will be taken up at the base of the largest Canyon vein. We are currently working on our hay loft which will sleep people in a dozen beds, providing bathroom needs for larger groups as well as availability of a class room area or place for dancing and entertainment. The would be staying above where their horses would be stalled. We have in plans for this fall and winter to create hookups providing electricity and water for 12 trailers by next spring.

We have 26 indoor stalls in one of our various barns. We have several horse fenced paddocks and larger corrals as well as a small indoor arena.
Upon early notice we will provide meals.
We are able to accommodate small or large groups.
We are a wonderful place for family reunions or corporate vacations. We have hosted RFD-TV's Best of America By Horseback hosted Tom Seay .
The Lakota Journey and Pioneer Adventure are just two of the many things that are available to do here on our ranch. We have many options to fill our entire year with visitors in a vast array of activities. We also offer our visitors the opportunity to share in our day to day ranching. We have opened our ranch to those whom like to go on trail rides or hike or bike. We have unique beautiful scenery surrounding us giving a photographer or artist wonderful places to fulfill their requirements in artistic expressions. I am an artist and enjoy sharing with others interested in cultivating their artistic talents. The BNSF railroad runs through the front of our property and Train watcher across the nation come for their photographic opportunities. We have Mule deer and Antelope. Some white tail deer run in the lower range. Living here are also cougars, bob cats, coyotes, grouse and Jack rabbits. We have seen from time to time a bear track. We are near some very historic places. Fort Robinson where the great chief Crazy Horse was killed. The battle between Yellowhand and Buffalo Bill was fought just 12 miles from my ranch. Agate Fossil Beds 1 hour away has many artifacts of fossils, but also of Chief Red Cloud. We are 1 hour from Chimney Rock and therefore the Oregon Trail. We are one hour from the Black Hills of South Dakota, where Mt. Rushmore resides. We offer area transport to our customers. Last but not lease we are rich in fossil remains and offer guided educational hunts.
Let me know if you are interested in working with me on marketing the many options that Our Heritage Guest Ranch has to offer. My guest ranch is under construction and should be up with in the month. I hope that the photos give you an idea of the vast changing scenery on our ranch.
Sincerely, Jean Norman 308-665-2810 home or 308-430-1239
